Maintain directional control
during the take-off run by nose wheel steering.
Rudder control becomes effective at approximately 50 knots IAS.

20-30 knots prior to nose wheel lift-off speed,
slowly pull the control stick
by approximately ½ travel so that the nose wheel lifts up at the preset speed which is dependant on the take-off weight.

retract the landing gear.
